Experience New Hampshire's Largest
Undeveloped Lake

At 3500 acres, the vast and beautiful expanse that is the Moore Reservoir is actually New Hampshire’s fourth largest lake, and its largest undeveloped lake. Thanks to a recent agreement between the hydro power company that uses the Moore waters to produce electricity, federal and state agencies and conservation groups, thereservoir will stay that way, to remain open for wildlife habitat, water quality protection, and public recreation.

Anglers will find trout, northern pike, land-locked salmon, pickerel, perch, and bass. Don’t be surprised to find an osprey or a bald eagle fishing, too.

 • The Moore Reservoir is actually a dammed portion of the
   Connecticut River

 • Unrestricted for recreation - including boating, waterskiing,
    swimming and fishing

 • Entire shoreline is covered by a protective easement to remain
    undeveloped forever
